The Light House at Providence Point is a dedicated inpatient hospice care neighborhood. Located within Providence Point’s skilled healthcare center, The Light House is not a Hospice agency, but works closely with the Hospice provider of our patients to offer a harmonious, supportive partnership, creating a unique environment for patients and their loved ones.
To fulfill the unique needs of each patient, The Light House at Providence Point offers registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, medical staff, and other specialized personnel. The Light House team of professionals will work hand in hand with the patient’s hospice provider to ensure the very best patient-centered care for every individual.
General Inpatient Care
For those experiencing difficult symptoms of their terminal illness that cannot be adequately managed in the home setting, The Light House offers a tranquil environment in which the patient can benefit from around the clock care. Here, patients can receive the symptom management they need until they are stable and ready to return home.
Respite care is short-term, inpatient care designed to give family and caregivers an opportunity to rest, recharge, and rejuvenate. The Light House at Providence Point’s goal is to recognize and support the needs of all members of the patient, family, and caregiver unit stands at the center of our care.
